Trisodium citrate anhydrous is manufactured from trisodium citrate dihydrate.Water molecules of the dihydrate crystals are removed by a patented process without destroying the original crystal matrix.Trisodium citrate anhydrous occurs as white crystalline powder. It is freely soluble in water and practically insoluble in ethanol (96 %). It is a non-toxic, neutral salt with low reactivity. It is chemically stable if stored at ambient temperatures.Basically,trisodium citrate anhydrous should be kept in airtight container in case the product is affected with damp.

trisodium citrate anhydrous is used for food such as the instant drinks,and often used for feed additive, acid regulator,detergents and pharmaceutical excipient. It’s a common pharmaceutical auxiliary and forming agent.
